As of the 2010 census there were 36,000 people from India living in the Twin Cities. Jacob Christy estimates that number has doubled since then. Christians make up a very small percentage as most are Hindu, Buddhists or Muslim. Jacob has been effectively sharing the Gospel with his non-Christian brothers and sisters for years now. He grew up in India and spent 25 years there starting Christian churches and pioneering a Bible school. (Over 840 pastors/church planters have been trained and sent from this school.)
God has now called this competent leader to ministry in Minnesota. Jacob has identified five Twin Cities communities (Maple Grove, Edina, Woodbury, Plymouth, Eden Prairie) with the highest population of Indians and plans to plant 5 churches, one in each community. He needs your help to bring this Gospel centered dream to reality!

We are actively looking for individuals and churches in these communities who feel the burden to reach their unreached Indian neighbors and are open to partnering with this movement.
Please join us in praying for Jacob as he continues this effort and begins his application to the Concordia seminary EIIT program. As you pray for him and the work of LINC Twin Cities please consider how God may be calling you to reach your own Indian neighbors.
